3 Things by Rivka Caroline, So Be Organized
Truth
I can’t tell you the exact moment I realized I was doing it all wrong.
It was probably around baby #5 when I realized I had exchanged my sanity for a trunk full of Cheerios, diapers and wipes. I loved my kids and knew big families were a great long-term investment — but would I even make it? I knew I was a good person, but why oh why couldn’t I get ahead of the curve, what was holding me back?
Then… I got it.
I knew nothing about time management. I was wasting time left, right and center. And that’s when I realized how well-intentioned, but clueless, I was.
Slowly but surely I got myself back on track, took the steps I needed to get organized and realized the better I manage my time, the more sane I am.
Tip
I wake up mega early which really helps me manage my time — but the truth is, the morning starts the night before. So every night before bed, I choose the 5-8 tasks that must be done tomorrow. Then when I have those precious few minutes to get tasks done, I have my cue cards right in front of me.
After all, mastering tasks is the key to a healthy and productive life. It changed my life so much, I even wrote a book about it! (Coming soon.)
Find
I have become a huge fan of lemon oil. I bought mine in a health store for under $10. I keep it right next to me in the front of the car for a 3 pm pick-me-up when my 3rd cup of coffee isn’t kicking in. It works wonders!
